Kaye + Dan – The Wedding

Kaye and Dan are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and we are so excited about their new life together. It’s a cliche to say that a couple was surrounded by love, but they were truly surrounded by love and adoration. It almost rained but it did not. God must be smiling on them.

We also had the pleasure of working with the beautiful ladies from Happily Ever After who did an incredible job organizing the day’s events. Click here for their website.

Alison + Paul – The Engagement

These two are goofy lovebirds i tell you. Alison worked at the Westin Building in downtown and she has access to its rooftop. It was real sweet to have a 360 degree view of Seattle as the backdrop. Then it began to rain. That did not stop us of course. We went to Volunteer Park for the next location and made full use of their Burberry umbrella. We can’t wait for their wedding this Fall! Fun, beautiful, in love (a lot !) … those are the words which exactly describe Kathe and Elliot.
They are getting married this coming October at SODO park. It’s going to be one exceptional and one-of-a-kind wedding. We’re so super-stoked with them.

For their engagement, we took advantage of the run-down feel of Gaswork park, the breathtaking ocean view of Carkeek beach and the darkness to capture their wittiness .

We have always wanted to do a winter theme engagement and Katie + Jeremy are brave enough to try anything. Snoqualmie Pass was all ours as it was eerily empty. Nina + Chris – The Engagement

We took advantage of a rare sunny day in Seattle to do Nina and Chris’ engagement session at Golden Gardens. Nina is a nurse manager and Chris has his own counseling practice. It is no wonder their love story started in a hospital.

Even with the sunshine, the weather was incredibly chilly. We spent just a short 1.5 hours in this session and decided to call it a wrap. No matter, we love the results! Hope you guys enjoy the photos too!

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day and the season of love, Lifebox Studio is giving away a free wedding photography package to a deserving couple this year.

So here’s the deal: Email in the story of a couple who really deserves this free photography for their wedding. You can even send in your own story! The couple must be getting married in 2010 (if we are already booked for the date, we are sorry!).

Applications must be submitted by March 14th, 2010.

• A couple who has a wonderful love story or who has overcome great odds.
• Details of the wedding and how the wedding will be unique, stylish or interesting.
