This warranty statement is applicable to new desktop computer systems purchased directly from iBUYPOWER.com and is offered to the original purchaser only.
Please see our Terms & Conditions and Purchase Agreement statements for important information about your purchase, conditions of sale, rights and obligations.
iBUYPOWER offers or has offered the following warranties:
iBUYPOWER offers the following warranty exception for the specified products below:
iBUYPOWER warrants this product and its parts to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship for the period specified in the applicable warranty included with the purchase from the original date of invoice. During this period, iBUYPOWER will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts, at iBUYPOWER's option, without charge for parts (additional charges may apply). All original parts replaced by iBUYPOWER or its authorized service centers become the property of iBUYPOWER. All components repaired or replaced by iBUYPOWER will be covered under warranty for the remaining period of warranty or for no less than 90 days after the repair invoice date. You are responsible for the payment, at current rates, for any service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.
iBUYPOWER makes no other warranty, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this computer other than as set forth below. iBUYPOWER makes no warranty or representation, either expressed or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer’s product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.
Except as provided below, iBUYPOWER is not liable for any loss, cost, loss of work, loss of data, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the computer. Under no circumstances shall iBUYPOWER be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the computer.
iBUYPOWER is a distributor only. Products sold by iBUYPOWER are not manufactured by iBUYPOWER. The products may, however, be covered by each manufacturer's warranty, service, and support policy (if any) even beyond the length of iBUYPOWER’s warranty. iBUYPOWER assigns and passes through to the Customer any warranty of the manufacturer, and Customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse only under such warranties and only as against the manufacturer of the products.
In the normal course of repairs, it is necessary at times to reformat or replace drives that may contain personal data. Reformatting drives will essentially remove all data and program files from the drive. Should a drive be inaccessible or has failed, the data and files cannot be retrieved and the drive will be replaced. If a drive has corrupted files, it may be necessary to repartition and/or reformat the drive. iBUYPOWER will attempt to contact you prior to performing this task in case you prefer to have the drive returned in order to send the drive to a data recovery service. At the time the RMA number is issued, iBUYPOWER will ask for your authorization in advance to repartition/reformat the drive and record that response in the RMA record to avoid further contact delays. iBUYPOWER will not be responsible for data loss under any circumstances.
The warranty and remedies set forth below are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.

This warranty extends only to products purchased directly from iBUYPOWER.com and is effective only if the products are purchased for use within the continental U.S. and Hawaii (i.e., within the USA, including the contiguous 48 States, Alaska and Hawaii). If purchased for shipment outside this area, please refer to the International Warranty Statement.
You must retain your bill of sale or other proof of purchase to receive warranty service.
This warranty covers only normal use of the computer.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Policy:
All returns require preapproval by iBUYPOWER and an RMA number to be issued before sending any product back to our facility. Before issuing an RMA number, iBUYPOWER will verify warranty status and determine whether the product can be covered under the specific warranty or not. You must be able to provide proof of purchase and the computer serial number to assist in this determination.
Shipping costs back to iBUYPOWER on any item returned are the sender’s responsibility and expense. iBUYPOWER recommends that the shipment is insured, or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment. iBUYPOWER will cover shipping costs back to the customer for warranty repairs or replacements and will accept the risk of loss or damage; however, iBUYPOWER will not pay for return shipping costs from outside the U.S., e.g., APO/FPO, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico.
Types of RMA Returns. Depending on the situation, the following RMA options may be available:
Packages received by iBUYPOWER without prior authorization from iBUYPOWER will be considered an unauthorized return, and iBUYPOWER reserves the right to take no action with the return; such products will not be accepted and may or may not be returned to sender. The RMA should be written on the outside of the package; delays in processing may occur for packages received without the RMA clearly known.
RMA numbers are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance. All approved returns must be received by iBUYPOWER within 30 days of the date that iBUYPOWER issues the return authorization and instructions. If an RMA becomes invalid after 30 days, a new RMA will need to be re-approved and issued. Any shipping labels provided to you by iBUYPOWER must be used within the validity period, generally 2 weeks, and will not be reissued without valid cause and re-authorization.
Obtaining a RMA number does NOT guarantee acceptance as a warranty transaction unless the product is RECEIVED before the warranty expiration. Products received after the warranty expiration date will be processed as an out-of-warranty product and any replacement parts will incur charges at the current prices.
The sender assumes full responsibility to ensure the computer or parts are packed properly to avoid any physical damage caused during shipping. iBUYPOWER strongly recommends retaining and utilizing original boxes and packaging, including internal foam if applicable, or a similar well-protected box, as outlined in the Packing Instructions. iBUYPOWER will not be responsible for shipping damage caused by improperly or inadequately packed product.

For product issues or failures, we recommend you contact our technical support for troubleshooting. For other customer service issues, such as parts swaps, missing items, billing issues, shipment inquiries, etc., please contact our customer service department. Initiate the RMA process at our Contact Us page.
Note: Before you return the product to iBUYPOWER, make sure to back up any data from the hard drive(s) and from any other storage device in the product. Remove all confidential, proprietary and personal information, as well as removable media, such as flash drives, CDs and PC Cards. iBUYPOWER is not responsible for any confidential, proprietary or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media that may be included with your return. Remove any hardware that was added and not part of the original component list from iBUYPOWER prior to the return.
iBUYPOWER will ship to the address provided by the customer using the shipping method selected by the customer. Provided the carrier delivers properly to that address, with or without signature, iBUYPOWER will not assume responsibility for non-delivery. We recommend contacting local authorities to file a theft report. You should also Contact Us to initiate a loss claim with the carrier to initiate an investigation, however, generally the carriers will also not assume responsibility if they determine that delivery was completed as ordered.
If you receive the product with visible damage to the shipping box, iBUYPOWER recommends that if the damage appears severe enough that the product inside may be damaged, you should refuse delivery and have it returned to iBUYPOWER unopened. Contact Us to report the damage. Upon receipt, iBUYPOWER will inspect the contents and either repackage it if not damaged, or repair/replace the product and reship it. iBUYPOWER will submit damage claims as necessary.
If you receive the product without visible damage to the shipping box but there is physical damage to the product, please take the following actions:
iBUYPOWER will initiate the damage claim.
If iBUYPOWER receives any returns, whether computers or parts, that has physical damage, the following will be assessed:
If the damage is deemed to have been caused by improper package by the sender, then the sender will be responsible for any associated costs.
If the damage is deemed to have been caused by improper package handling by the carrier, then a damage claim will be initiated by the sender and the product held until a final disposition is ascertained. Once determined, iBUYPOWER will then determine the next course of action.
If a shipment is lost in transit, the circumstances will be investigated and any loss claims should be initiated by the sender. Depending on the results of the investigation and claim, either a refund or replacement will be provided iBUYPOWER or the sender assumes the loss.
Appeals to the carrier cannot be submitted without new evidence to present.
It is very important that the RMA number appears clearly on outside the package in order to avoid delays and confusion. Ship the computer, packaged well and insured, to:
